Medical Alcohol Detox
Detox is the crucial first step when it comes to recovering from an alcohol addiction. Attempting to withdraw from alcohol alone can be dangerous and potentially life-threatening because of the wide array of withdrawal symtpoms—both mental and physical—that the individual can fall victim to.
Our medically supervised alcohol detox includes:
-
24/7 medical monitoring
-
Symptom management with appropriate medications
-
Emotional support from a compassionate team
-
A calm and safe environment to rest and heal
We ensure your comfort and safety while your body clears itself of alcohol, preparing you for follow-up therapeutic treatment.
Personalised Rehabilitation Programmes
Once detox is complete, lasting recovery from addiction can begin. Our private alcohol rehab programme includes a combination of evidence-based therapies and holistic treatments aimed at healing both the mind and the body|:
- One-to-one counselling – You will work with a trained addiction counsellor who will help you to explore the underlying issues behind your addiction and and help you to develop new coping strategies.
-
Group therapy – Here, you can gain insight into those struggling with similar issues, and gain support and recognition for your own that can significantly aid in recovery.
-
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – A scientifically-proven method, CBT help you to recognise and change thought patterns that lead to alcohol misuse.
-
Art and Movement Therapy – Engaging in creative outlets can help facilitate emotional release, in place of emotional repression.
-
Meditation and Mindfulness – This method can help you to clear your mind of negative thought patterns and cycles, and forge new, healthier neurological pathways.
-
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) – This therapy utilises gentle tapping to reduce stress, anxiety, and emotional triggers.
These therapies are delivered by our knowledgeable professionals who have first-hand experience of addiction and recovery. This ensures that we can offer deeper empathy and understanding for your unique situation, providing you with all the professional tools and advice you need to make a lasting recovery.
