We are proud to confirm that New Leaf Recovery has remained Covid-19 free by implementing all the necessary Infection, Prevention and Control (IPC) measures following the IPC cleaning specifications. This involves terminally cleaning all bedrooms and communal areas which also involves electro-static disinfection. Electo-static treatment significantly reduces the number of infectious viable pathogens and airborne bacteria, ensuring all internal areas, furniture, equipment and all contact areas receive an industrial level of disinfection and decontamination.
In order to maintain this high level of IPC, New Leaf Recovery has increased housekeeping manpower who are all fully IPC trained.
New Leaf is now conducting a comprehensive pre-assessment assessment in order to ascertain the client’s vulnerability towards the virus and their history of any potential contact.
We are requesting that all new clients be screened in order to obtain a negative result prior to admission to the treatment centre.
All New Leaf staff are COVID-19 tested on a weekly basis and temperatures are taken daily from everyone at the centre.
The above processes have proved to be effective and successful in keeping New Leaf Recovery COVID-19 free enabling us to confidently continue delivering our treatment programme to those who need it most.
